Audrey
Vintage 1950s Roses Audrey Rag / Cloth DollI've collected a vast collection of pretty 1950s cotton prints that seemed to never see the light of day... and being Inspired by my grandma this week (tis her birthday on the 17th, we share the same birthday) I thought I'd make a collection of 1950s girlies with big printed circle skirts for little girls (and big) to play with...They'd make great tea party friends!

Audrey Brooch
While tidying the workroom, I always happen to stumble upon projects that were once lost and not finished.

Finished Adreanna
Being ill is sometimes handy for doll making... I finished her last night. She stands at 22.5 inches tall. She rather idolises Tina Turner (who wouldn't) and downs whisky every night to keep her voice in check.
I think I need to start making clothes for myself... I want her cape!

Rosie May
I don't often make these anymore, but while having a jolly good spring clean of the work room, I stumbled upon the makings of a fawn.. it seemed rather silly to leave her in pieces, and so this morning she was finished. A little deer Rosie May.

Rita Mae
My latest lady
Rita Mae stands at 21 inches in height
Has a light wire frame body to give some structure & bend
A rayon 1930s hanky makes up her blouse with hidden poppers down the front. Her jeans were made out of a pair of jeans kindly donated by my other half' & also have hidden poppers down the back seam. Red wool, hessian and leather make up her wedges...and a red felt handbag completes her look.
Of course no outfit is complete without underwear...
