A photo a day keeps the mind at play

in a world of my own

More trinkets... the naked lady used to belong to my grandmother who kept it in a locked glass cabinet, I remember every time we popped up to visit her I would gaze at it happily for hours. Her features are just wonderful.

Home Sweet Home

I absolutely love trinkets... and can't help filling my home with them. This is one of my favourites, a 1930s glass cottage perfume bottle. What a marvellous novelty.

A photo a day keeps the mind at play

I'm utterly terrible at updating this blog... so have decided to update at least one photo a day.

                                                               Me and Mr Moon

This little lady lives on one of the shelves in the workroom

Rita Mae

                                        My latest lady

Rita Mae stands at 21 inches in height
Has a light wire frame body to give some structure & bend
A rayon 1930s hanky makes up her blouse with hidden poppers down the front. Her jeans were made out of a pair of jeans kindly donated by my other half' & also have hidden poppers down the back seam. Red wool, hessian and leather make up her wedges...and a red felt handbag completes her look.

Of course no outfit is complete without underwear...

If you went down to the river in the last two days

You might of come across the Crafty Fox Market nestled in between the trees near the Tate Modern as part of the Craft Trail at this years Thames Festival. A whole weekend packed for of music, arts and crafts, dances, and devilish delights. I'm afraid I didn't get to wonder too far from around my pitch as the troublesome wind and I didn't really see eye to eye.. But have to say it was lovely to properly meet some fellow other like minder designers.

Through the wind, sun, rain and rainbows fun was had by all... Sinead and Stephan are truly lovely fellows, I can't thank them enough for having me.

Night time was the right time for just reminiscing
